Public Accounting – Senior Auditor

We partner with growing CPA firms on various positions, including  Senior Audit roles. Many firms offer  a great career path for the right individual as well as the opportunity to work with a variety of different public and private clients in a variety of industries.  Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of audit experience with a CPA firm and a CPA license or working towards the CPA. Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field is required.

Typical Duties Include:

  • In-charge engagements from beginning to end.  They will be reporting to a Director
  • Planning the audit which includes preparing audit programs for approval, preparing analytical procedures, budget, scheduling and personnel required
  • Working with the client to schedule the audit and to obtain audit schedules and audit support
  • Reviewing and/or preparing audit work papers
  • Managing the audit/assurance process including keeping Directors updated
  • Supervising accounting staff by assigning work, training, and reviewing their work
  • Internal control documentation and testing
  • Review/preparation of GAAP financial statements
  • Wrapping up the audit including completion of all checklists and audit programs
